Day by day itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Thessaloniki
We will meet you at Thessaloniki airport and take you to the
hotel, which is located in the centre of the city. Depending on your arrival time you might have time for a city walk, coffee or lunch. We will also might do all motorcycle paperwork, to be ready for riding next morning! In the evening you will meet the rest of the group for the welcome dinner, where we will have a quick briefing of our tour schedule.
Day 2
Thessaloniki - Agios Germanos (250km)
We will start the day with an easy and relaxed ride to the magnificent Archaeological site of Vergina and the Royal Macedonian Tombs. After Veria, we will ride a nice and fast mountain pass, before we arrive at Nympheo for lunch. The road from here to Agios Germanos is a pleasure and full of curves and turns...
Day 3
Agios Germanos - Aristi (220km)
There are not many straight parts on the road today....First stop will be at Kastoria, for a coffee by the lake, and then we will head south to Pentalofos for lunch through the mountains. From Pentalofos to Konitsa the road is faster and we will arrive at Aristi early in the afternoon, so there is still time for a short ride...
Day 4
Aristi - Zagori area loop ride (0 to 180km)
The area of Zagori is a magnificent place, with lots of great roads, ideal for motorcycle touring. We will spend the day riding these roads, enjoying the impressive scenery, traditional settlements and unspoiled nature...
Day 5
Aristi - Kallirroi (170km)
We will continue riding small, traffic free roads into the forest of Pindos, and we will visit Monodentri to admire Vickos gorge. Then, 60km of turns and curves will get us to Metsovo, a nice small town on on the old national road from Ioannina to Thessaloniki. After a light lunch, it is just another 50km on mountain roads to our hotel in Kallirroi...
Day 6
Kallirroi - loop ride to Meteora (175km)
Today we will visit Metera, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the most beautiful and impressive monuments in Greece! It will be another day in beautiful mountain roads, except a small part near Meteora...
Day 7
Kallirroi - Thessaloniki (300km)
We will start the last day with a nice ride towards Kalambaka, and we will then ride Katara pass, that will get us close to Metsovo. But this is not all...Another fantastic road will take us near Grevena - From here, we will enter Egnatia Odos for a relaxed ride to Thessaloniki...
Day 8
Departure from Thessaloniki
Depending on the time of your departure, you can enjoy a short tour in Thessaloniki, or just a coffee in the beautiful promenade.
We will be happy to accompany you and show you more about our home town before we transfer you to the airport for your flight home
